The Dutch Caribbean Foundation for Clinical Higher Education (NASKHO) was founded in 1967 as a collaboration between the Government of the Netherlands Antilles and the Netherlands.
The memorandum of foundation of the Foundation was passed on 17 May 1967 in Curaçao. Due to the political changes, the name of the foundation commencing October 10, 2010, changed to the Dutch Caribbean Foundation for Clinical Higher Education
The NASKHO is an institutionalized organization that facilitates the provision of knowledge transfer and education in health care in order to contribute to the quality of medical care.
The Foundation is governed by a Curatorium consisting of members residing in Curaçao and the Executive Board of the University of Groningen.
