Doctors develop their profession to a large extent in the clinic. Research shows that the quality of supervision is of great importance for acquiring medical skills. As co-assistant co-ordinator, you play a crucial role in educating future doctors. To support you, there are several training methods being researched and implemented.
NASKHO is in the process of implementing a teach-the-teacher training practice at the Curacao Medical Center. The goal is to provide you with guidance to assist co-workers in the learning process throughout the daily work routine. As it is now, we will probably use the Teaching on the Run module, developed by the Wenckenbach Institute in collaboration with the Isala Clinic in Zwolle.
