Parallel Workshops

Workshop A – Primary Care Track: Management of STIs in Primary Care, Including Antimicrobial Resistance
Focus areas:

  • Current STI treatment guidelines;
  • Syndromic management in primary care;
  • Emerging antimicrobial resistance (mainly gonorrhea); 
  • Indications for referral to STI-Clinic; 
  • Indications for referral to specialist care; 
  • Practical case-based discussions from daily clinical practice.

Target audience:
General practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, public health professionals

 

Workshop B – Specialist Track: HIV and Multimorbidity
Focus areas:

  • HIV and malignancies;
  • Cardiovascular disease and metabolic complications in people living with HIV; 
  • Renal and hepatic comorbidities; 
  • Long-term management challenges in HIV populations; 
  • Multidisciplinary approaches to chronic HIV care.

Target audience:
Internist, infectious disease specialists, dermatologist, hospital physicians, pharmacist, aios

Met dit 'Bon biní-boekje' willen wij  de co-assisten­ten die naar Curaçao komen om hun stages te doen, welkom heten. Het is de bedoeling om jullie op de hoogte te brengen over de gang van zaken in de Curacao Medical Center waar jullie zullen gaan werken, en over Cura­çao. Voor het verkrijgen van goed onderwijs verwachten we van je een pro- actieve rol.  Er zijn heel veel mogelijkheden die je kunt benutten. De docenten verwachten van je in deze dat er belangstelling getoond wordt en dat je zelf ook met suggesties en verzoeken komt.
