Cervical precancer and cancer

Cervical cancer is a preventable by means of screening and vaccination. We still have a long road ahead in Curacao to get our cervical cancer incidence to the level of developed countries, but it is for sure possible. We will cover shortly in the presentation our national screening program and the recently started HPV vaccination program at our schools and also about cervical cancer treatment and diagnosis. In depth discussion about the management, treatment and follow-up of cervical precancer will provide valuable insights.

  Igor Gomes Bravio

  Dr. Igor Gomes Bravio is a gynecologic oncologist from Curaçao who completed his
  entire medical education in Costa Rica. After graduating in 2010, he returned to
  Curaçao, where he has been practicing ever since. His clinical focus lies primarily in the
  management of gynecologic cancers and precancerous conditions, as well as in the
  care of patients with severe endometriosis.
