DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\,We are very pleased to present the preliminary
  programme for the 12th Netherlands Heart Days (NHD) from January 18 – 20\
 , 2018 in Curaçao.The annual NHD has proved its value as high level annual
  meeting in cardiovascular radiology as evidenced by both the returning nu
 mber of regular participants as well as the increment of new ones from Eur
 ope\, the entire Caribbean area\, North and South America\, and the last y
 ears also Asia.The meeting is organized by the NHD again together with the
  Maastricht University Medical Center and the section Cardiovascular Radio
 logy of the Radiological Society of The Netherlands\, in close cooperation
  with the NASKHO (Netherlands – Caribbean Foundation for Clinical Higher E
 ducation). The program covers topics on Calcium scoring\, myocardial perfu
 sion and flow\, cardiac imaging strategies in women\, invasive coronary an
 giography\, and many more. On the last day\, in the Caribbean and South Am
 erica session speakers from Brasil\, Colombia\, Costa Rica and St. Martin 
 will address new developments in radiology and cardiology in these regions
 . Young researchers again will have the opportunity to submit abstracts fo
 r the Poster Award Session. The abstracts\, with only cardiovascular topic
 s\, will be rated by a jury and the 5 highest rated abstracts will be pres
 ented in a plenary oral session. The best presentation will be awarded wit
 h a Poster Award. The remaining accepted posters can be viewed on site. Ea
