Netherlands Heart Days Curaçao
Dear Colleagues,
We are very pleased to present the preliminary programme for the 12th Netherlands Heart Days (NHD) from January 18 – 20, 2018 in Curaçao.
The annual NHD has proved its value as high level annual meeting in cardiovascular radiology as evidenced by both the returning number of regular participants as well as the increment of new ones from Europe, the entire Caribbean area, North and South America, and the last years also Asia.
The meeting is organized by the NHD again together with the Maastricht University Medical Center and the section Cardiovascular Radiology of the Radiological Society of The Netherlands, in close cooperation with the NASKHO (Netherlands – Caribbean Foundation for Clinical Higher Education).
The program covers topics on Calcium scoring, myocardial perfusion and flow, cardiac imaging strategies in women, invasive coronary angiography, and many more. On the last day, in the Caribbean and South America session speakers from Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica and St. Martin will address new developments in radiology and cardiology in these regions.
Young researchers again will have the opportunity to submit abstracts for the Poster Award Session. The abstracts, with only cardiovascular topics, will be rated by a jury and the 5 highest rated abstracts will be presented in a plenary oral session. The best presentation will be awarded with a Poster Award. The remaining accepted posters can be viewed on site.
Early fee registration is open until December 1, 2017.
